Status Bar
Description
A compact status bar at the bottom of the window shows real-time system health, scan progress, item counts, and active mode indicators.
How It Works
The status bar displays contextual information including:
- Memory monitor — Real-time memory usage tracking via
MemoryMonitor.shared, with color-coded warning levels - Scan progress — A pulsing dot with item count during folder scans, plus a cancel button
- Vision analysis progress — A progress pill showing analyzed/total counts during background content analysis sweeps
- Active filter pills — Visual indicators for content tag filters, media type filters, and aspect ratio filters
- Art Gallery indicator — A pulsing badge when Art Gallery mode is active
- Seen progress — SmartShuffle shows “Seen X of Y” tracking
Toggle the status bar with Cmd+/ or via the View menu. The bar is 24pt tall and included in the window’s chrome height calculations.
