Playback Controls

Description

Global play, pause, and stop controls for all grid cells simultaneously, with configurable end behavior and playback speed options.

How It Works

Press Space to toggle play/pause for all cells at once. Stop halts all playback and resets. Each video plays independently but responds to global controls.

End behavior options control what happens when a video finishes:

• Loop — Replay the same video (seamless via AVPlayerLooper)
• Hold — Freeze on the last frame
• Advance to Next — Play the next file in order
• Advance to Random — Jump to a random unseen file (default)

Playback speed in the Free tier includes 0.5x, 1.0x, and 1.5x. Plus tier adds 0.25x, 0.75x, and 2.0x.

End behavior is a Cell setting: set the persistent default in Preferences > Playback > Cell Defaults, or override for the current session in the Cells group on the control bar.
