Fullscreen Playback

Description

Click any grid tile to open it in a fullscreen view with a metadata overlay, configurable dim/blur background, optional background pause, and session-persistent volume control.

How It Works

Click a tile and it expands to fill the window with a cinematic presentation. The surrounding grid dims or blurs behind the focused item. A metadata overlay shows file information. Volume is remembered for the session.

Multiple dismiss paths are available: click anywhere outside the item, press Escape, or use the collapse button. The click action itself is configurable in Preferences > Playback > Click Behavior (Fullscreen, Play/Pause, or Nothing).

Optionally, background grid playback can pause while the fullscreen view is active, reducing system load.
