Cue Sheet Scripting
Problem
Complex shows with dozens of cues are tedious to configure through UI alone. Technical directors want a plaintext format they can prepare in advance and version control.
Solution
Cue Sheet Scripting is a plaintext show orchestration language. Each line defines a cue with a trigger (time, manual, or MIDI), action (scene recall, shuffle, message, pause), and optional duration. Scripts can be loaded, validated, and executed from a dedicated panel.
UI Flow
- Open Performance > Cue Sheet.
- Write or import a
.cuesheetplaintext file. - FlexGrid validates the script and highlights any errors.
- Click Run to begin execution; cues fire in sequence.
- Manual cues pause execution until the operator presses Next.
Tier Availability
Pro only.
Known Limitations
- No conditional logic or branching; cues execute linearly.
- Maximum of 200 cues per script.
