Problem

Displays in lobbies, retail spaces, and event venues need content to change automatically based on time of day or day of week without manual intervention.

Solution

Smart Scheduling lets users define rules that trigger actions at specified times. Supported actions include scene recall, content shuffle, grid size change, and folder switch. Rules can be scoped to specific days of the week.

UI Flow

1. Open Settings > Scheduling.
2. Add a new rule: pick day(s), time, and action.
3. Preview the schedule on a weekly timeline.
4. Enable the schedule; FlexGrid executes rules in the background.

Tier Availability

Pro only.

Known Limitations

• The Mac must remain awake for scheduled actions to fire.
• Maximum of 50 active rules.
