Smart Resize

Problem

Manually resizing the window to exact aspect ratios for different displays (16:9 projector, 4:3 monitor, 9:16 vertical screen) is tedious and imprecise.

Solution

Smart Resize snaps the FlexGrid window to standard aspect ratios with one click. Options include 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 9:16, and Auto (which matches the primary display). The grid content reflows to fill the new proportions.

UI Flow

1. Open View > Smart Resize or the aspect ratio picker in the toolbar.
2. Select a target ratio: 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 9:16, or Auto.
3. The window resizes and the grid reflows to fill the new shape.
4. Auto mode matches the active display’s native aspect ratio.

Tier Availability

Cross-tier: unlocked by any purchase (Plus or Pro).

Known Limitations

• Window may exceed screen bounds on smaller displays at extreme ratios (9:16 on a landscape monitor).
• Auto mode uses the display where the majority of the window is located.
