ML Motion Blur

Problem

Exported grid recordings and snapshots can look static and jarring. Motion blur adds cinematic smoothness to moving content.

Solution

ML Motion Blur applies optical-flow-based motion blur to video cells during export. The system analyzes frame-to-frame motion vectors and synthesizes natural blur along movement paths. Processing is offline (export-time), not real-time.

UI Flow

  1. Open Export settings and enable ML Motion Blur.
  2. Set blur intensity (Low, Medium, High).
  3. Export the grid recording; motion blur is applied during rendering.
  4. Preview the effect on a sample frame before committing to export.

Tier Availability

Pro only.

Known Limitations

  • Export-time only; not applied during live playback.
  • Significantly increases export time (2-5x depending on intensity).
