Canvas Mode

Problem

Collage builders and designers want free-form placement of media without grid constraints, with multi-page support for complex compositions.

Solution

Canvas Mode provides a blank canvas where users place, resize, and layer media cells freely. Multiple pages allow complex multi-scene compositions. Cells can overlap and be reordered in a layer stack.

Current Status

Disabled for v1. Core canvas mechanics are implemented but not exposed in the UI. May return in a future release.

Tier Availability

Was planned for Plus tier.

Known Limitations

• Free-form placement does not auto-arrange; users must position each cell manually.
• No snap-to-grid or alignment guides.
